How to View Transactions

Monitor spending and view transaction history

Keep track of every purchase your kids make with comprehensive transaction history and spending insights.

Accessing Transactions

Go to Transactions

Tap Transactions in the navigation menu.

View the list

See all transactions across all family members.

Filter as needed

Use filters to narrow down what you're looking for.

Recent transactions showing purchases and funding

Each transaction shows:

  • Merchant name - Where the purchase was made
  • Amount - How much was spent (or funded)
  • Category - Type of purchase (food, entertainment, etc.)
  • Date - When it happened
  • Status - Pending or completed

Spending Categories

Transactions are automatically categorized:

You can change a transaction's category by tapping on it and selecting a different one. This helps keep your spending reports accurate.

Filtering Transactions

Find specific transactions quickly:

  • Date range - Last 7 days, 30 days, custom range
  • Family member - Filter by specific child
  • Category - Show only certain spending types
  • Amount - Filter by minimum/maximum amount
  • Search - Search by merchant name

Spending Charts

The Transactions page includes visual insights:

  • Pie chart - Spending breakdown by category
  • Bar chart - Spending over time
  • Stats cards - Total spent, transaction count, averages

Tap on a pie chart segment to filter transactions by that category. Tap again to clear the filter.

Transaction Details

Tap any transaction to see:

  • Full merchant information
  • Merchant category code (MCC)
  • Exact timestamp
  • Card used
  • Option to change category

Pending vs Completed

StatusMeaning
PendingTransaction is processing (usually 1-2 days)
CompletedTransaction has settled
ReversedTransaction was refunded

Pending transactions may change amount slightly when they settle (e.g., tips at restaurants). The final amount appears once completed.
