How to Create Your First Task

Tasks are the chores and activities your family members will complete. Each task has a point value to motivate completion.

Steps

1. Go to Task Management — Navigate to Manage → Tasks from the menu

2. Tap "New Task" — Click the + New Task button

3. Enter task details:

   • Name: What's the task? (e.g., "Make bed", "Take out trash")
   • Points: How many points is it worth? Start with 5-10 for simple tasks
   • Category: Optional grouping (e.g., "Bedroom", "Kitchen")

4. Set frequency — How often should this task be done?

   • Daily: Resets every day
   • Weekly: Can be done once per week
   • One-time: Doesn't repeat

5. Tap "Create Task" — Your task is now ready to be assigned!

Tips

• Start simple with 3-5 tasks, then add more as your family gets comfortable
• Higher points = harder tasks (washing dishes might be 15 points, making bed might be 5)
• Use categories to organize related tasks together
