How to Create Your Family

Creating a family is the first step to using ChoreSplit. Your family is a private group where you'll manage tasks, track points, and reward good habits.

Steps

1. Open ChoreSplit — Launch the app or go to choresplit.com

2. Sign up or log in — Create an account if you don't have one, or sign in to your existing account

3. Tap "Create Family" — You'll see this option on the home screen if you're not in a family yet

4. Enter your family name — Choose something fun like "The Smith Squad" or simple like "Smith Family"

5. Tap "Create" — Your family is now set up and ready to go!

Tips

• You can change your family name later in Family Settings
• The person who creates the family automatically becomes an admin
• You'll get an invite code you can share with other family members

• Set up rewards to motivate everyone
