How to Configure Gamification Settings

Parents can customize how gamification works for their family. Adjust these settings in Family Settings.

Accessing Gamification Settings

1. Go to Family Settings — Tap Family in navigation
2. Find Gamification section — Scroll to find it
3. Tap to open — View all customization options

Available Settings

Streak Settings

• Enable streaks: Turn on/off streak tracking
• Streak bonus multiplier: Adjust bonus percentages
• Streak reset time: When does the day "end" for streaks

Point Settings

• Point multiplier: Apply a global multiplier to all points
• Bonus day: Set a day where points are worth more
• Round points: Round to nearest 5 or 10

Leaderboard Settings

• Show leaderboard: Enable/disable for family
• Reset period: Weekly, monthly, or never
• Show rankings: Display 1st, 2nd, 3rd or just points

Badge Settings

• Enable badges: Turn achievement system on/off
• Badge difficulty: Easy, Normal, or Hard thresholds
• Show locked badges: Let kids see what they can earn

Tips

• Start with default settings, adjust as needed
• If kids lose interest, try boosting multipliers
• If rewards are earned too fast, reduce multipliers

Troubleshooting

Settings not saving? Make sure you tap "Save" after making changes. Some settings require a page refresh to take effect.
