Card Details
Once created, you can view:
- Card number - For online purchases
- Expiration date - When the card expires
- CVV - Security code for purchases
- Balance - Current available amount
Card details are stored securely and only visible to the parent account. Children see their balance but not full card numbers.
Adding to Apple Pay / Google Pay
For in-store purchases, kids can add the card to their phone:
- Open the card details in ChoreSplit
- Tap Add to Wallet
- Follow the prompts to add to Apple Pay or Google Pay
- Use their phone to tap-to-pay at stores
Mobile wallet setup requires the child to have their own phone with Apple Pay or Google Pay configured.
