How Gift Card Rewards Work
Learn how ChoreSplit turns chore points into real gift cards — no bank account or debit card needed
ChoreSplit lets kids earn real rewards by completing chores. When they redeem points, they get a gift card link — no bank account, no virtual debit card, just brands they actually want.
Unlike kids debit card apps like Greenlight or GoHenry, there's no KYC, no bank setup, and no card to manage.
The Earning Cycle
Here's how it works:
Kids complete chores
Each completed task earns points based on difficulty.
Points add up
Points accumulate in the child's balance over time.
Redeem for a gift card
When they have enough points ($5 minimum), kids tap Redeem and pick an amount.
Pick a brand
A link opens a brand picker with 1,000+ options — Amazon, Target, Roblox, and more.
Gift card delivered instantly
The selected gift card is delivered on-screen. Balance is deducted automatically.
