How to Remove a Family Member

If someone leaves your household or you need to remove a member, you can do so from Family Settings.

Steps

1. Open Family Settings — Tap Family in the navigation

2. Find the member — Locate the person you want to remove

3. Tap their name — Open their profile

4. Tap "Remove" — Click the remove or delete button

5. Confirm removal — Tap "Remove" again to confirm

What Happens When You Remove a Member

• They're removed from future task assignments
• Their historical data (completions, points) is preserved
• If they have an account, they lose access to the family
• Their tasks become unassigned

Tips

• Consider editing instead of removing if someone's just taking a break
• Points earned by the member stay in family history
• Removed members can be re-added later as a new member

Troubleshooting

Can't remove a member? You cannot remove yourself if you're the only Parent. Either add another Parent first, or delete the entire family if you need to start over.
